Your Pets, Our Priority: Experience the Difference
At Ocala Pet Sitting, our commitment to your pet's well-being starts at the top with Shannon's dedication to excellence and extends through every member of our team. We take pride in our rigorous hiring and training process, ensuring that every pet sitter shares our passion for giving exceptional care.
Each of our team members is thoroughly background-checked and completes the OPS pet sitter training course, created by Shannon, a professional with over 20 years of experience and extensive education in the pet care industry.
Once they demonstrate their knowledge through course work and testing, they are advanced to shadow training with Shannon and our Team Leads. Every step in our processes is designed for their success and also gives us an opportunity to part ways with a candidate who does not fit our standards of care and company culture.
You can trust that your furry family members are in the best hands.
While many people may call themselves "pet sitters," few can truly claim to be professionals, and even fewer are proud to be members of the OPS Team.

Kyden

Team Lead, Professional Pet Sitter
Kyden has always had a passion for animals, growing up surrounded by dogs, rabbits, fish, and small birds. She is now the proud mom of Melody, a Toy Australian Shepherd, and two jumping spiders named Morla and Noodles.
Kyden’s love for animals extends to all species, with a particular fondness for working breeds and pets with anxiety. She believes in the uniqueness of every animal and takes time to herself understand their personalities to provide the best level of care. In her free time, Kyden enjoys cooking, taking nature walks, and capturing beautiful moments through photography.
Kelly

Professional Pet Sitter
Kelly has always shared her life (and often her bed) with her pets, making them true family members. While serving in the Air Force in Okinawa, Japan, she found a way to relocate with her five pets, despite the two-animal limit!
After retiring, Kelly started a hobby farm in NC, raising poultry, goats, pigs, cows, horses, and even a llama. At her farm’s peak, she also had three dogs and five cats.
Now in Ocala, FL, Kelly enjoys life with her husband, two cats, and a dog. When she’s not at the dog park with her 80lb pup, she loves boating, kayaking, camping, and live music. Her calm approach helps animals build trust, often surrounding her on the floor.
Kaja
(pronounced Ky-yah)

Professional Pet Sitter
Kaja brings both a medical background and a true love for animals to the OPS Team. With years of experience as a veterinary technician—including time at an all-cat clinic—and her very first job as a kennel assistant, she’s no stranger to the world of animal care. Her calm, gentle energy makes her especially adored by the kitties in our care.
When she’s not visiting furry friends, Kaja works as an infusion nurse and loves filling her extra time doing what brings her joy: caring for animals. Her goal? To blend her compassion for pets with a little extra fun money for family vacations.
We’re so excited to have Kaja’s big heart, sharp instincts, and cat-loving spirit on our team! 🐱💕
Tara

Professional Pet Sitter
Tara brings a calm, caring presence to the OPS Team and has a genuine love for all kinds of animals. As a school teacher’s assistant, she is patient, attentive, and naturally nurturing, qualities that translate beautifully into the way she cares for pets in our community.
At home, Tara enjoys spending time with her unique furry and feathered family, including her birds, snakes, and of course her beloved cat. When she’s not caring for animals or helping students, you can often find her having fun competing in her local dart league.
We’re so happy to have Tara’s compassionate spirit and animal-loving heart as part of the OPS Team!
Ari

Professional Pet Sitter
Ari brings a true love for cats and a natural curiosity about animal care to the OPS Team. She’s currently studying to become a veterinary technician, and she’s passionate about learning everything she can to better understand and care for the pets she works with. Her gentle approach and enthusiasm make her a wonderful companion for the kitties in our care.
When she’s not visiting furry friends, Ari enjoys spending time with her family and friends—especially at home with her two beloved cats, Mork and Mindy, who keep life entertaining and full of purrs.
We’re so happy to have Ari’s cat-loving heart as part of the OPS Team!
